Whether it was the parent of a student who explained her son’s excitement for the lessons learned and his eagerness for the continuation, or the heartfelt hug from a third grader who purposely stopped by the GPL tent on Goochland Day, it has been confirmed that the Kindness program is working!
This past summer, a Goochland resident came home from the beach to find a dog abandoned in a crate on her back deck. She had no access to food or water and that week was sweltering with temperatures in the high 90’s. To say Tilly was not in great shape would be an understatement.
